There hasn’t been a moment in my kids’ lives where this book wasn’t front and center and at the top of the bedtime reading list. It is Magnus who is currently fascinated by its bright illustrations and the pictures of food.

\nFor the very hungry caterpillars in my own home, it’s important for me to teach them how to eat healthy by presenting them with healthy meals and snack options. We’ve been covering some ways of how to get your children to experience and accept a wide variety of foods in the picky eater series<\/a>, and reading is a fantastic way to drive home those points as well. They will be donating copies of The Very Hungry Caterpillar<\/em> to over 17,500 pediatrician offices across the United States.
