{"id":6936,"date":"2010-11-10T22:12:51","date_gmt":"2010-11-11T03:12:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crankymouse.com\/?p=6936"},"modified":"2011-01-23T16:29:53","modified_gmt":"2011-01-23T21:29:53","slug":"almond-butter-apple-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/index.php\/2010\/11\/10\/almond-butter-apple-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"Almond Butter Apple Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1\/2 cup butter, softened<br \/>\n1\/2 cup almond butter<br \/>\n1\/4 cup honey<br \/>\n1\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon vanilla<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups flour<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon baking soda<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1 small-medium apple, diced (about 1\/2 cup)<br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\">Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 F and line baking sheets with parchment or silicon baking mats.  In a large mixing bowl cream together butter, almond butter, honey and sugars.  Mix in egg and vanilla until thoroughly combined.  In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.  Add to the butters and mix.  Stir in diced apples.<br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\">Using a medium scoop, scoop cookies 2-3&#8243; apart on baking sheets.  Bake at 375\u00b0 F for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are set.
