We look to use ingredients in different ways throughout the week so that we&#8217;re benefiting from the ability of do-aheads and being able to buy in bulk.  We also benefit from a <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/the-kitchen-sink\/stocking-your-pantry-for-home-cooking-the-basics\"target=\"_blank\">well-stocked pantry<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><br clear=\"all\"><strong>Monday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodlifeeats.com\/2010\/01\/quinoa-taco-salad.html\" target=\"_blank\">Quinoa Taco Salad<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Tuesday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/desertculinary.blogspot.com\/2005\/05\/ham-and-pineapple-pizza.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ham and Pineapple Pizza<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Wednesday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/guiltykitchen.com\/?p=1057\" target=\"_blank\">Chicken Fajitas<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Thursday\u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/smittenkitchen.com\/2008\/04\/spring-panzanella\/\" target=\"_blank\">Spring Panzanella<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Friday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yumsugar.com\/Quick-Easy-Ginger-Chicken-Veggie-Stir-Fry-Recipe-7015998\" target=\"_blank\">Ginger Chicken Stir Fry<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><\/p>\n<h3>The Preparation Shortcuts:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Use leftover Easter ham for the pizza on Tuesday.  It&#8217;s a great way to get rid of it without making a second ham dinner.<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> On Wednesday cook the extra chicken for Friday&#8217;s meal.<br \/>\n<strong>3.<\/strong> Use similar vegetables in both the panzanella and the stir fry.  In this case, asparagus.  Choose whatever is fresh and in season where you live.  This can help save money if you are able to buy in bulk.<br \/>\n<strong>4.<\/strong> Use leftover dinner rolls and bread from Easter meals for the panzanella.  It&#8217;s a great way to repurpose leftover bread.<br \/>\n<strong>5.<\/strong> Cut your stir-fry vegetables and get them ready on Thursday while you&#8217;re making the panzanella.
