We look to use ingredients in different ways throughout the week so that we&#8217;re benefiting from the ability of do-aheads and being able to buy in bulk.  We also benefit from a <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/the-kitchen-sink\/stocking-your-pantry-for-home-cooking-the-basics\"target=\"_blank\">well-stocked pantry<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><br clear=\"all\"><strong>Monday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/lifetimemoms.com\/food\/asian-orange-chicken-salad\" target=\"_blank\">Asian Orange Chicken Salad<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Tuesday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/culinography.wordpress.com\/2008\/03\/24\/ham-and-asparagus-frittata-or-what-to-do-with-your-easter-leftovers-part-one\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ham (or leftover corned beef) &#038; Asparagus Frittata<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Wednesday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/homesicktexan.blogspot.com\/2009\/10\/sour-cream-chicken-enchiladas-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas<\/a> with steamed brown rice and vegetables<br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Thursday \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amateurgourmet.com\/2008\/07\/spaghetti_carbo.html\" target=\"_blank\">Spaghetti Carbonara and side salads<\/a><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><strong>Friday\u2013 <\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/archives\/mushroom-casserole-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mushroom Casserole<\/a> with Chicken, side salads<br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\"><\/p>\n<h3>The Preparation Shortcuts:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> When grilling the chicken for the salad on Monday, grill 4 extra breast pieces seasoned only with salt and pepper.  Save these for use in the enchiladas and the mushroom casserole.<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> Fill and roll the corn tortillas and store in an airtight container on Monday.
