However, you&#8217;re still getting them, and heck, maybe it&#8217;ll help you with some of the measurement amounts.  The following is a post by Ole, who made baked beans <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/menu-planning\/the-monday-menu-december-27-2009\" target=\"_blank\">last week<\/a>!<\/em><br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\">I&#8217;ve always taken beans for granted.\u00a0 Ten minutes before the grilling is done, you open a can of beans, pour it into a bowl, stick it in the microwave for three or four minutes, then slide it onto the table next to the important stuff \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/recipes\/bacon-wrapped-beef-tenderloin-medallions\" target=\"_blank\">steak<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/recipes\/baked-potato-salad-for-your-backyard-barbecue\" target=\"_blank\">potato salad<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/recipes\/jalapeno-cornbread-so-hot-so-sweet\" target=\"_blank\">cornbread <\/a>or whatever \u2013 and eat.\u00a0 End of story.\u00a0 Beans really aren&#8217;t important; they just offer a way to reduce meat volume and add a bit of sweetness to cut the salt found in many American dishes.\u00a0 Right?\u00a0 Not really.\u00a0 Beans can be so much more.\u00a0 They can be a dish that contributes to the meal, not just filler.\u00a0 All it takes is a little planning.<br \/>\n<br clear=\"all\">You&#8217;re going to want to start about 24 hours before you plan on eating.
