I may fill the pan with water and walk away, only to be irritated later when I reenter the kitchen and am reminded of the task still waiting for me. <\/p>\n<p>Why do we avoid these things that would be better dealt with head on? Instead we put them off, allowing them to linger in the background of our lives. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/farberware-purecook-1-of-1.jpg\" alt=\"Ceramic Cookware Giveaway: Farberware PurECOok \" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16862\" srcset=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/farberware-purecook-1-of-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/farberware-purecook-1-of-1-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is a bit of reward in finishing a task, in seeing the job through to completion and then not having to return to it again \u2013 never mind tomorrow. Likewise, there&#8217;s also a bit of reward in pans that are allowed to slip into the dishwasher, no matter if your child hasn&#8217;t bothered to scrap clean their scrambled egg mess from the edge because even if you were to hand wash that neglected and forgotten pan, it wipes clean without elbow grease. <\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been using our pans for a while now \u2013 and ceramic for much longer \u2013 and while I&#8217;ve used them for eggs and the <a href=\"https:\/\/crankymouse.com\/recipes\/potato-and-arugula-frittata-with-goat-cheese\" target=\"_blank\">potato and arugula frittata<\/a> several times, I can&#8217;t properly state how excited I was the first time I used one to make <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/foodformyfamily\/photos\/a.155541544472658.36007.107847365908743\/1220552687971533\/?type=3&#038;theater\" target=\"_blank\">fried quinoa in the morning for the kids&#8217; lunches<\/a>. In less than 60 seconds, all the caramelized quinoa bits and color on the pan was washed away with our everyday sponge, and I was hanging it up in its proper place. Goodbye procrastination. <\/p>\n<p>My bits of advice for ceramic cookware maintenance are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> bamboo and wooden spoons are your friends; forks and metal utensils are the enemy<\/li>\n<li>don&#8217;t let them nest in a cupboard somewhere, lest they get scratched as you are jostling them around<\/li>\n<li>instead, store them by hanging or investing in a <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0052EOP9Q\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0052EOP9Q&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=foodf00-20&#038;linkId=UH47P2VZ7OAGWZZO\" target=\"_blank\">pan rack<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00GWTFZN0\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B00GWTFZN0&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=foodf00-20&#038;linkId=2SGL53DVMU7GGLTZ\" target=\"_blank\">pan liners<\/a> to separate them from each other<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m excited to be giving away a set of these very same pans to a reader.
