More Than Simple Food

When I’m not toiling away in the kitchen, working behind a computer screen or playing with my new camera, I sometimes consider getting around to decorating my home. Actually, I think about it a lot. It’s the getting to it portion I have issues with. I have plenty of ideas and things I like, but time kind of gets away from me with all the other things going on.

Today I talked about actually accomplishing something in the design category over at Simple Nest, a channel of Simple Mom. Come and take a peek, and while you’re there, you can check out Mandi’s Splashes of Color series. They’re great for inspiration.

I have quite a few projects for adding to my walls in the works at the moment, including one that I was so close to finishing this weekend…until the starter went out on the family vehicle and sucked one day of the three-day weekend away. Looking back, it was a fantastic time for it to happen because we had the time to take care of it right away. Still, I kind of wish the vases and plants were on shelves on the walls rather than waiting on top of my desk.
C’est la vie!
