Tuesday is Cinco de Mayo, and while it is not the Mexican Independence Day (that’s September 16) and it is celebrated more in America than in Mexico, it’s a chance to make whatever your favorite Mexican dish happens to be and raise a glass in honor of your Mexican American friends.

Here are a few of our favorite Mexican dishes from some of my favorite food blogs.

Pico de Gallo – The Pioneer Woman

Grandma Salazar’s Tamales – Delicious Days

Beef Empañadas – Smitten Kitchen

Carne Asada Tacos – For the Love of Food

and for the less authentic of you

Carne Asada Fries. Bong Not Included. – Matt Bites

Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I
can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creatinng my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions? With thanks
